Blank Metal is a Minneapolis firm that does only AI work: building agents and applications, rebuilding legacy systems with AI coding agents, and training staff. Its five co-founders previously led GoKart Labs, a digital product studio, and the firm names three venture backers. Buyers are mainly mid-market and private equity backed companies. Its clearest result is VMG Health, where it reports rebuilding a physician compensation valuation platform in 12 weeks against an internal estimate of close to a year. It is a Select partner in Anthropic's Claude Partner Network and a Vercel solution partner. It publishes a working newsletter with build notes and case studies. Other published work is anonymised or describes workshops.
